ISLAMABAD : The Korea Quiz Competition organized by the Korean Embassy was held at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) Sports Gym. Ambassador of the Republic of Korea His Excellency Mr. Park Ki Jun, Dean of the Faculty of Languages Dr. Jamil Asghar Jami, NUML Registrar and Director Islamabad King Sejong Institute Dr. Atif Faraz, Senior Korean Head Ahtisham Hussain, faculty members and a large number of students also attended the event.
Around 100 applicants from all over the country took part in the competition. The event was held to increase awareness and knowledge of Korean culture and language in Pakistan. The competition was won by Ms. Shumail Fatima BS Korean Language and Culture Semester 8 and will represent Pakistan in the Grand Final scheduled in Korea. All expenses related to the visit will be borne by the Korean government.

On this occasion, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, His Excellency Park Ki Jun, emphasized the benefits of knowing the Korean language and culture, especially the scholarship and employment opportunities that may arise. Dean Languages highlighted the role of NUML in promoting Korean language and culture in Pakistan.
