ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah on Tuesday called upon all political parties to promote greater unity and harmony to achieve much needed national development and prosperity.
In a statement, Shah emphasized that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) should abandon its negative politics and engage in positive and constructive activities that will benefit the country. He believed that the founder of PTI laid the foundations of the politics of hatred and violence in Pakistan.
Shah alleged that the prevailing economic situation in the country was the result of PTI’s wrong policies both nationally and internationally, which he termed as a “deliberate attempt”.
He urged the PTI to change its approach to contribute to the progress of the country.
