KAGHAN: To prepare for the expected surge in tourists during Eid al-Fitar, the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) held a meeting on Monday and said extensive cooperation and assistance is needed for visitors.
Director General (DG) KDA Shabir Khan emphasized the importance of vigilance and unwavering commitment to the task and said that the beautiful Kaghan Valley will welcome many tourists.
He pointed to popular attractions such as Shogran and the famous snow-capped mountains, and pointed out their potential to attract large audiences. The Director General of KDA urged all officers to be alert and give full cooperation and guidance to those who come.
Emphasizing the zero-tolerance policy against failure, Shabir Khan reiterated the importance of accountability. On the eve of Eid al-Adha, it was revealed that the necessary equipment had been placed in a sensitive area.
In addition, the meeting decided to involve other district departments in the preparatory work. Various proposals were discussed to preserve the natural beauty of the valley, provide comfortable conditions for tourists and develop a sanitation system to achieve this goal.
