Islamabad- As part of the directive from the President to strengthen Kazakhstan’s transit and transport potentials, particularly concerning the development of international North-South, in the initiative by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan (IRP), online negotiations between the Minister of Transport, Mr. M. Karabaev, and the Minister of Communications of the IRP, Mr. A. Tarar were held.
During the discussions, both parties extensively discussed a spectrum of cooperation issues within the transport and logistics sphere, including road and rail communications. They also agreed upon a calendar of joint activities for 2024, which includes the organization of the 2nd meeting of the Special Working Group on Transport and Regional Connectivity.
Consequently, negotiations resulted in agreements practically on implementing measures aimed at enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation within the transport and logistics sector.
