Muzaffarabad: Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Chairman According to Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who declared Kashmir to be the country’s jugular vein, all political parties must include the Kashmir independence cause in their manifestos for the approaching elections.
In a statement published here on Thursday, he stated that India is attempting to crush the Kashmiri people’s liberation fight by governmental pressure and military force.
People in Indian-occupied Kashmir look to Pakistan’s leadership in this regard, in addition to their role in the Kashmir independence fight.
Ghazali maintained that the Indian government’s illegal fencing along the internationally recognized disputed state’s cease-fire line, the cruel actions of the Indian Lok Sabha on August 5, 2019, and then the biased and political decisions of the Indian Supreme Court on December 11, 2023 are the worst atrocities committed by the Bharatiya Janata Party government against millions of Occupied Kashmir citizens.

He stated that such Indian actions have brought numerous problems for the Pakistani government, political and religious parties, and the role of the main party in the Kashmir conflict.
“All the political parties of Pakistan including Pakistan Peoples Party, Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Muslim League-N, Tehreek-e-Insaf, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Muslim League-Q, Milli Muslim League Pakistan, Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan, Awami National Party, Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party etc must enter Kashmir issue and their unflinching support in their manifesto” , he said.
He further added that millions of new voters of Pakistan could be conscious of their duties with Kashmir freedom cause.
“For the last 4 elections, it has been observed that the political parties are neglecting the most important and sensitive issue of Kashmir in the election activities”, adding that neither any voice was being raised against Indian terrorism nor public support is being obtained for Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination.
“It is a clear deviation from Pakistan’s national Kashmir policy and the sayings of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah regarding the state of Jammu and Kashmir” , he said.
According to Uzair, the people of Occupied Kashmir are struggling against one million Indian forces, brutal black laws, and governmental persecution.
In these conditions, it is Pakistan’s constitutional, national, and religious responsibility to resurrect the national Kashmir policy in order to liberate the oppressed Kashmiri people.
