Muzaffarabad: “Kashmir Exploitation Day” was observed throughout the state of Jammu and Kashmir on completion of 5 years of Indian unilateral act of 5th August 2019.
According to details, a strong protest was organized by Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir in the capital against the brutal actions of the Delhi government under the leadership of Narendra Modi.
Protestants marched from Shah Sultan Bridge to the United Nations Observer Office on the main highway of the capital.
Large number of people participated in the protest including women, elderly, children against Indian actions.
Kashmiri youngsters chained themselves and marched on the main highway of the city.
Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali, Vice Chairman Usman Ali Hashim, Shaukat Javed Mir, Azmat Hayat Kashmiri, Javed Ahmed Mughal and Mehnaz Qureshi led the demonstration.
The Kashmiri protesters waved black flags and tied black bands on their foreheads against the Indian imperialist actions of August 5, 2019.
Protesters carried banners and placards demanding the United Nations to annul the Indian colonial actions of August 5, 2019.
They also burnt the effigies of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rajnath Singh, Ajit Duval and Amit Shah involved in Indian oppression in Jammu and Kashmir.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali has said that the people of the state of Jammu and Kashmir reject the Indian illegal military occupation and all the actions of August 5, 2019.
He maintained that even Kashmiri people reject the biased and political decision of the Indian Supreme Court on Jammu and Kashmir on 11 December 2023.
“The people of Jammu and Kashmir are demanding the United Nations and the International Court of Justice to annul the worst decisions of the Indian government and its Supreme Court”, he added.
“The Kashmiri people want a decision of the political future according to the resolutions passed by the Security Council”, he stated.
He said that the people of the state of Jammu and Kashmir will never accept the military rule of India.
He said that Kashmiri people will continue to resist on all fronts against the Indian military occupation of the state of Jammu and Kashmir and all of its tactis of turning the Muslim majority state into minority.
Ghazali opined that for the establishment of real peace in South Asia, it is necessary to solve the Kashmir issue according to the will and intentions of the Kashmiri people.
Protesters also demanded the United Nations Security Council to implement its resolutions on Kashmir and undo all unilateral actions of Indian government.
