Muzaffarabad: On the occasion of Pakistan Day, a rally was organized under the auspices of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir to pay rich tributes to the people of Pakistan.
According to details, a large number of citizens gathered at Burhan Wani Chowk to express gratitude while hoisting Pakistani flags and chanting pro-Pakistan and pro-freedom slogans.
Speakers on the occasion said that March 23 is an important day in the history of the Indian subcontinent when a resolution was passed to establish a separate Muslim country in South Asia.
They argued that the establishment of Pakistan was an important milestone for the Muslim world.
They said the resolution was interpreted on August 14, 1947, as an independent country.
The speakers said that the founding fathers of Pakistan under the passionate leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, and others achieved Pakistan through eternal, tireless, and unprecedented struggle.
“Millions of Muslims migrated from their cities, and regions and left their countries to establish Pakistan,” the speakers said.
They also mentioned that thousands of Muslims, including women, children, and the elderly, had accepted martyrdom for the establishment of this Islamic Republic.
The speakers saluted the people of Pakistan and said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir look to a nuclear Pakistan as the savior of their freedom.

The speakers said that according to the decree of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Kashmir is the aorta of Pakistan, which India occupied with the force of 1 million armed forces.
“The struggle for the freedom of Kashmir is the duty of the government, the Armed forces, and the people of Pakistan,” they added.
They further said that it is a religious and national duty to help the oppressed Kashmiris in every way for their freedom.
The rally was led by Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Raja Muhammad Arif Khan, Ghulam Hassan Butt, Syed Hamza Shaheen, Chaudhary Feroz Din, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Muhammad Atif Lone, Sarandaz Mir, Usman Ali Hashim, Dawood, Shaheen Abbasi, Muhammad Maqsood Mughal and others.
