The late Naat reciter Junaid Jamshed’s son, Babur Junaid, has shed light on the truth about his father’s marriages.
Recently, Babur Junaid appeared on a podcast where he discussed his personal life and addressed questions about his father’s multiple marriages.
Babur revealed, “To my knowledge, my father had three marriages. One was with my mother, while the other two were with different women. One of his wives tragically passed away in the same plane crash as my father.”
According to Junaid Jamshed’s son, all four of his father’s children are from his first wife, Babur’s mother. He added that his father had no children from his other wives.
Sharing a memory about his father’s marriages, Babur recounted, “Once, while driving with my father, he asked me, ‘I’ve had more than one marriage, but tell me honestly, did you ever feel a lack of love or care from me?’ I replied no, assuring him that I never felt such a thing.”
It is worth remembering that Junaid Jamshed passed away on December 7, 2016, in a plane crash.
