Religious seminaries play a vital role in imparting Islamic teachings to future generations, reforming society, and spreading the teachings of Islam. Scholars should contribute to bringing positive change to society. These views were expressed by the Deputy ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Maulana Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman, former provincial minister and ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North, Inayatullah Khan, Maulana Noor Ahmed Deen, head of Darul Uloom Tafheem-ul-Islam Sorbat, Maulana Zaheer Hassan, and others while addressing the Khatm al-Bukhari Sharif and Khatm al-Quran ceremony at Darul Uloom Tafheem-ul-Islam Sorbat.
They stated that Jamaat-e-Islami is striving for the implementation of Allah’s system on Allah’s land and for eradicating hatred and sectarianism from society. In this mission, the role of seminaries and religious scholars is extremely significant. They urged the scholars to play an active role in ending hatred, division, and sectarianism, reforming society, implementing Islamic principles, and eliminating social evils.They highlighted that thousands of students, both male and female, have graduated from Darul Uloom Tafheem-ul-Islam Sorbat and are now spreading the message of Islam in various regions. This effort will continue in the future as well.
