Abbottabad, Asif Awan:
Jafar Tayyar Maqbool Awan has said that journalism is a sacred profession. People associated with it are the bearers of truth and justice who play a role in providing justice to the oppressed and downtrodden sections of the society.
Abbottabad Press Club has fulfilled its professional responsibilities for the establishment of peace and order in the city and has never disappointed any right-holder in the face of an oppressor. It has also given an opportunity to all sections of the society, political and religious parties, to express their feelings on an equal footing.
It is expected that the newly elected cabinet will fulfill its professional responsibilities in serving the citizens more than its past.
