According to a public relations officer, the Islamabad Capital police organized a farewell party for the departing Superintendent of Police (SP), Islamabad Chaudhary Abid Hussain, who departed from the force after serving his time. He stated that CPO Safe City/Traffic Shoaib Khurram Janbaz and principal Traffic Officer Islamabad Sarfraz Virk were the principal guests at the goodbye ceremony, which was also attended by key police officers and authorities. The retiring SP received well wishes from the CPO Safe City/Traffic, who also mentioned that retirement is a requirement of the job because everyone who enlists must eventually leave the service.
He urged the active police officers to make every effort to uphold the department’s reputation. He believed that the department and the officials may gain a positive reputation by performing public service. He acknowledged Chaudhary Abid Hussain’s services and mentioned that the department treated him with dignity and respect in return. He wished SP Chaudhary Abid Hussain luck in his future undertakings and gave him a police shield and bouquet of flowers. As a probationary ASI, SP Chaudhary Abid Hussain joined the Islamabad Capital Police and held a number of positions. He most recently worked as SP Traffic, a position he held until his retirement.
