On April 8, Abbasi applied to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to register a new political party. He submitted the relevant documents to the office of the electoral organization for the registration of his party.
Pointing to the so-called “war” between government institutions, Ebad said that the judiciary, armed forces and parliament are important pillars of the country and should not understand that their relationship is strained.
The seasoned politician, who was the governor of Sindh for 14 years from December 2002 to November 2016, said the president should be used in the current political situation as he is the head of the state and represents the federation. power to eliminate miscommunication and tension between the pillars of the state.
To a question, he said that the party he belonged to earlier, MQM, and its founder parted ways with him in 2015.
“When MQM rejected me, I parted ways with them,” he said, stressing his love for MQM.
