Islamabad: Iranian President Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi arrived in Islamabad on a three-day official visit to Pakistan.
He was warmly received by Federal Minister Riaz Hussain Pirzada on arrival at Nur Khan Airbase.
The Iranian president is accompanied by his wife and a high-level delegation consisting of the foreign minister and other cabinet members, senior officials and trade delegations.
The Iranian president will meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today. There will also be a round of delegation-level negotiations between the two countries.
Upon arrival at the Prime Minister’s House, the visiting dignitary will be given a guard of honor.
Iranian President and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will plant a tree at the Prime Minister’s House on the occasion of Earth Day.
The two leaders will attend the signing ceremony of memorandums of understanding between the two countries on cooperation in various fields.
The two leaders will attend a ceremony regarding the naming of a highway in Islamabad as Iran Avenue. They will also hold a press lecture.
The prime minister will host a lunch in honor of the Iranian president and his delegation.
