Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met Azad Kashmir Chief Minister Chaudhary Anwar-ul-Haq at the Interior Ministry on Sunday.
Both the Prime Ministers discussed the law and order situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and the general security situation in the meeting.
The two leaders also exchanged views on the political situation and the upcoming budget for the new fiscal year.
Mohsin Naqvi approved the placement of Border Words in Azad Kashmir on the request of Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir.
Addressing the Prime Minister, Mohsin Naqvi Azad said that cooperation is likely to be extended to maintain peace in Kashmir and improve the security situation in the region.
Azad reiterated that the promises made to the people of Kashmir are now being fulfilled.
Asserting that the government of Pakistan stands with the government and people of Azad Kashmir, he said that all possible cooperation will be extended for the growth and development of Azad Kashmir.
The Chief Minister of Azad Kashmir thanked the Federal Home Minister for taking immediate steps to resolve this issue.
