Once there were two confectioners who had shops opposite to each other and were in competition with each other.
A confectioner displayed a hoarding in front of his shop containing the said words:
“People from across the city buy sweets from our shop.”
Very next day, the other shopkeeper put up an even bigger board with said words:
“People from the whole district buy sweets from our shop.”
The first confectioner changed the board with even bigger claim:
“People from the whole province buy sweets from our shop.”
The second confectioner in response put up board with even more bigger claim:
“People from the whole country buy sweets from our shop.”
The first confectioner changed the board and put up a new hoarding with these words:
“The confectioner opposite to our shop also buys sweets from us.”
