PESHAWAR– Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has written to Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif to withdraw 91 provincial development projects from the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP).
In his letter, Gandapur said he was disappointed by the Planning Committee’s decision that the withdrawal of 91 development projects from the PSDP would have a significant impact on the province.
The CM termed the withdrawal of the ongoing development project as a violation of the decision taken at the meeting of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and the National Economic Council (NEC).
Gandapur also mentioned the decision taken in the NEC meeting to prioritize the completion of ongoing projects.
He said the scrapping of development projects by the federal government would increase poverty in the province.
