The Zionist usurping regime in gross violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, attacked and violated some targets in Iran. The Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemns the aggressive act of the usurping Zionist regime, against its military centers in Iran, and regards the attacks as a clear violation of international law and the Charter of United Nations and especially the “principle of prohibiting the threat or use of force” against the territorial integrity and national sovereignty of Iran.
As it has been highlighted several times by the competent authorities, the Islamic Republic of Iran, while emphasizing the inherent right of its self-defense, which is reflected in Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, is entitled to deserve the right to defend itself against any foreign acts of aggression.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, by resorting to its capabilities to defend its security and its vital interests and recognizing its duties for regional peace and security, underlines the importance of the individual and collective responsibility of all the States in the region to protect peace and stability of the region.
Undoubtedly, the continuation of the occupation, illegal actions and committing crimes by the Zionist regime in the region, especially the act of genocide of the Palestinian people and the aggression against Lebanon, which has continued in the shadow of comprehensive military and political supports of the United States and some western countries, is the main cause of tension and insecurity in the region.
It goes without saying that the biased and dual approach of the supporters of the fake Israeli regime, especially the United States and some Western countries, in regards to the regional developments and escalation of tensions in the region, is irresponsible and unconstructive, and it only encourages the Zionist regime to continue the genocide act in Gaza and it will lead to the spread of scope of war and insecurity to other countries.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, while recalling the responsibility of each Member States of the “United Nations”, the Member States of the “Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide”, and the Member States of the “Geneva Four Conventions of 1949”, demands immediate and collective measures against gross violations of “international law” and the “Charter of the United Nations” and the “Convention on the Prohibition of Genocide and international humanitarian rights”, and Underscores the need for immediate and urgent action by the international community to stop the genocide, war and aggression against Gaza and Lebanon and curb the Zionist regime’s warmongering.
The Islamic Republic of Iran appreciates all the peace-loving States in the region and the other States in the world, which by realizing the existing dangerous conditions, expressed their disgusts and condemned the aggressive acts of the occupying Zionist regime. In the end, as the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Peshawar, I am very much obliged to appreciate the stance of our brother country, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, in condemning the usurping Zionist regime’s aggressive invasion and violation against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
