BAHAWALNAGAR: Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), came under fire from Nawaz Sharif, the supreme leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), who claimed that Khan had undermined national security through what Nawaz called a “attack” on Pakistan, sensing that he would soon be removed from office as prime minister.
He criticized Imran’s economic policies and charged that he was bringing the nation closer to economic instability while speaking to a convention of PML-N workers at Haroonabad, Bahawalnagar district.
“Even though I experienced injustice firsthand, I made sure that Pakistan remained safe. I didn’t reveal national secrets or make any concessions about national security. But Imran Khan attacked Pakistan, realizing he was likely to lose power,” he continued.
Imran was charged by Nawaz with planning a despicable plot against the nation and endangering national security.
Nawaz declared that he is facing disqualification, yet he is approaching the public with a proud face. He exclaimed, “My blood boils with passion at your slogans.” Find out from the farmers how much a tractor cost in the days of Nawaz Sharif and how much it costs now. I introduced inexpensive power and put a stop to load shedding. Tell me, are you thinking about Nawaz Sharif right now.”
Nawaz made a comparison between the price of fuel under his administration and the current one, highlighting the growing fuel prices: “During Nawaz Sharif’s time, petrol was 60 rupees per litre for motorcycles, cars, buses, and trucks.” It is currently 250 rupees per litre. According to a report recently released by Transparency International, corruption in the nation came to an end under Nawaz Sharif’s administration.
He asked former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar, in reference to Imran Khan, why he gave the “certificate” of Sadiq and Ameen to someone the entire world regards as the most corrupt.
“We bid farewell to the IMF, and the country stood on its own feet during our tenure,” Nawaz remarked, accusing Imran Khan of bending the nation’s sovereignty and pursuing foreign help. Then Imran Khan arrived and left other nations holding a bowl of begging. The folks who humiliated and set fire to the martyrs’ sculptures were we, the ones carrying out nuclear tests.
Sharif questioned his own incarceration, asking, “Why was I thrown in jail? Even though they knew they had erred, the judges who had put me in jail are stepping down today. They are aware of how unfair their acts were.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the chief organizer of the PML-N, addressed the assembly and stated that Imran Khan should be treated the same as terrorists.
Does any political party provide terrorist training to its employees? Does it offer instruction on how to attack security institutions and national security?” Maryam Nawaz asked a query.
She said that the public’s affection for Nawaz Sharif has not decreased over the past four years, but rather has become stronger.Someone sent me a photo of Imran Khan handing out candy during Nawaz Sharif’s sentencing in the Panama case. Imran Khan was given a ten-year sentence today, but Nawaz Sharif hasn’t celebrated or given out candy.”
In a mocking statement, the PML-N leader said that Nawaz Sharif’s conviction in the Panama case stemmed from the fact that he had refused to accept his son’s wage. This joke was seen by everyone on the planet, and people will still make fun of rulings like the Panama case.”
Maryam went on to discuss Imran Khan’s alleged crime and made a comparison between his actions and those of Nawaz Sharif. “Imran Khan’s crime was not stealing a salary from his son, but it was no laughing matter,” she stated. He made up allegations that there was a plot against him and that it was interfering with national security when he realized that his position as prime minister was disappearing. Could you please clarify if Imran Khan’s sentencing was just or unfair?
