ISLAMABAD: President of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Prof. Dr. Hathal Homoud Al-Otaibi, took note of Rs. 5000 registration fee for Aitekaf at Faisal Masjid.
According to IIUI spokesperson Nasir Farid, the IIUI president has directed Dawah Academy to immediately waive the fixed registration fee for Aitekaf.
In addition, the president ordered that any matters concerning the Faisal Masjid and the public must receive formal approval from the parties involved and the academy is not empowered to make independent decisions.
In addition, the President emphasized that during the month of fasting, all the necessary facilities will be provided to the worshipers at Faisal Masjid and that the matters related to Aitekaf will be resolved. In addition, the President ordered to ensure optimal arrangements for Aitekaf.
