Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan organized an online khuli katcheri on Friday to give residents direct access to the police top brass, a public relations officer said.
He said that ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan answered public queries through phone calls from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan heard the problems of the callers and directed the officers concerned to solve them immediately. Most of the problems mentioned were personal and related to police departments.
Speaking to the citizens, the ICCPO said that the police are working hard to rectify public affairs as quickly as possible. He said the purpose of these initiatives is to bridge the gap between the police and the public.
People from all over the city submitted their proposals to the ICCPO. Most of the issues were related to personal matters of citizens, investigation matters, timely disposal of cases and others.

The capital’s police chief told the audience that the federal capital has witnessed a clear reduction in crime due to effective policing measures, hard work by police officers and quick response when called “Pucar-15”.
Citizens are also requested to cooperate with the Islamabad Capital Police and report any suspicious activity on the Pucar-15 helpline.
