ISLAMABAD: Political injustice, fear and atrocities have contributed to the suffering of people in India’s illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir at the hands of the Hindutva BJP.RSS regime and its men in uniform over the unresolved Kashmir dispute.
An analytical report released today by the Research Section of the Kashmir Media Service revealed that atrocities, political injustice, mental disorders and fear have increased manifold since the Hindutva BJP.RSS regime and the Indian Army imposed a strict military and police siege. the police establishment and their dreaded agencies on August 5, 2019, when he withdrew the special status of the territory.
The report said that 857 Kashmiris were killed and 2,413 injured by Indian troops during this period. It claimed that Kashmiris were pushed into the stone age due to the inhumane undemocratic regime and the Indian military siege.
She further said that brutalities perpetrated by Indian forces personnel against the downtrodden and defenseless people of Jammu and Kashmir has become a routine matter. It added that Indian troops, paramilitary and police personnel are conducting night raids on houses and cordon and search operations in IIOJK on a daily basis to quell Kashmiris’ struggle for the right to self-determination.

The report deplored that properties, including residential houses and lands of common people, are regularly looted and detained by the dreaded Indian agencies on false and false narratives during violent cordon and search operations in the occupied territory.
The report said India is one of the most dangerous countries in the world for independent journalists, where harassment of media persons who do not follow the Hindutva line of the Narendra Modi-led BJP government has become the order of the day.
The report alleged that the BJP regime in IIOJK targeted the free press and attacked minorities in India, mostly Muslims, Sikhs, Christians and Dalits, to hide its crimes against religious minorities from the world. It added that the attack on the free press in the territory and also in India is a wake-up call for global media organizations.
The report said that the United Nations and the peaceful world community must shun their indifference to the endless suffering of the Kashmiri people and support them in their just struggle to secure their inalienable right to self-determination. It is time to hold India’s Hindutva BJP government accountable for its crimes against humanity in IIOJK, she concluded.
