The nation’s top hospitality and tourism company, Hashoo Group, has partnered with the National Endowment Scholarships for Talent (NEST) of the Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training M/o FE&PT, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad, in keeping with its mission to support accessible education and employment opportunities for the country’s economic upliftment. Through this partnership, Pakistan will get its first-ever hospitality scholarships, aimed at advancing the hospitality and tourism industry.
One of the industries that creates the most jobs, both locally and globally, is hospitality. Underprivileged students in Pakistan will be able to apply for scholarships through this significant initiative to attend Hashoo School of Hospitality Management’s two-year Diploma/Associate Degree Program in hospitality and tourism (HSHM). Furthermore, underprivileged students of the Hashoo Foundation, the corporate social responsibility division of the Hashoo Group, will now have access to NEST’s Nursing, Arts & Culture Scholarship program thanks to this relationship.
Additionally, Hashoo Group and NEST will aggressively look for national possibilities to aid gifted and poor kids who would substantially benefit from financial support during their educational journeys. NEST’s primary goal is to give scholarships to deserving but underprivileged students who require extra funding to finish their education.
In expressing his opinions, Mr. Waseem Ajmal Chaudhry, Chief Executive Officer of NEST and Federal Secretary, Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad, said that this collaboration is a positive step toward empowering impoverished young. He continued by saying that adding scholarships pertaining to hospitality and tourism to NEST’s purview is a positive move that has expanded NEST’s function. The company acts as a catalyst for change, helping to close the achievement gap in education by giving gifted kids in underprivileged communities scholarships.
NEST has awarded more than 6000 scholarships thus far in a variety of professions, improving these students’ access to further education and career prospects.
