Beijing: Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi visited Pingdingshan in central China’s Henan province to promote trade and investment ties between Pakistan and China.
During the visit, Ambassador Hashmi held a very productive meeting with Pingdingshan Mayor Li Mingjun and discussed issues of mutual understanding and agreed to further cooperation.
He interacted with Pingdingshan organizations and companies and visited leading companies in the electronics, nylon and automotive industries.
Ambassador Hashmi spoke at the opening ceremony of the dual degree program between the School of Coal Mining at Pingdingshan Polytechnic College.
He said, technical education, vocational and advanced training is the key to increase productivity.
Ambassador Hashmi said that he was happy to visit the museums and historical sites of the city and nearby districts.
he also studied and appreciated the rich cultural heritage of this region, which has such treasures as the exquisite Ru shards.
It should be noted here that Henan Province is famous for its coal resources, mining industry and nylon production.
The Ambassador was accompanied by Commercial Adviser Ghulam Kadir and other senior officials on the visit.
