Dhudial: Despite the clear announcements by the Punjab government to immediately complete the unfinished and incomplete roads across the province, work has not yet started at Harar Chowk Chohan. The Punjab government had issued orders last year to complete the unfinished roads immediately, and just a few days ago, another announcement was made that around 500 incomplete road projects would be completed by the end of December 2025. However, the Harar Chowk Chohan Road project, which was approved at the end of 2021 and work on it began on July 15, 2022, has faced repeated interruptions. So far, only a single layer of asphalt has been laid from Harrar Chowk to Mohra Alho Maswal, while work towards Dorey Chohan has been halted for the past three months. The scattered gravel is causing significant damage to vehicles, and this incomplete project is severely affecting 26 villages in the area. The local residents have urged the higher authorities to complete this project immediately and relieve them from the hardship they have been facing for the past two and a half years.
