MARDAN: The central leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, stated that Pakistan was established in the name of Islam, but an Islamic system could not be implemented here. As a result, a system of oppression, tyranny, and injustice has taken root, turning the country into a land of crises. The capitalist and feudal systems have taken control of the country, with a few people holding 250 million citizens hostage. He highlighted that 40% of the population lives below the poverty line, and corruption and loot have become rampant in the country.He emphasized that the solution to all these problems lies in the implementation of an Islamic system. Jamaat-e-Islami, upon coming to power, will establish an Islamic system in the country. He stated that Islam is a complete code of life that provides solutions to every problem. He acknowledged the significant role of madrassas in increasing literacy and recognized the importance of education in the modern era. Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman expressed these views while addressing a ceremony on the conclusion of the Bukhari Sharif at Darul Uloom Miftah-ul-Uloom, Hishnagar Kallay, Shergarh.The ceremony was also addressed by central vice leader Dr. Maulana Ata-ur-Rehman, provincial leader Abdul Wasi, district leader Ghulam Rasool, Maulana Safiullah, Maulana Hussain Ahmad, and others. Leaders such as Akhtar Hussain, Noman Yousaf, and Zia-ur-Rehman were also present on the occasion.
Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman urged the public to support truth and justice to bring an end to this oppressive system, drawing an example from Bangladesh, where the people supported truth and justice to rid themselves of oppression and tyranny. He claimed that Jamaat-e-Islami has the capability to pull the country out of crises, if not today, then tomorrow, and it will eventually implement an Islamic system in the country.He stressed the importance of granting women their rightful share in inheritance and assured that Jamaat-e-Islami would establish a government where women would receive full protection and their rightful rights. At the conclusion of the program, scholars and graduates were awarded turbans and certificates.
