Dadu: A two-day badminton tournament was organized by Gymkhana Dadu to provide sports opportunities for school girls.
42 teams from 15 schools of Dadu participated in the tournament, school girls participated enthusiastically and tested their skills in the game.
The final IBA school students won the winner prizes by working hard, the finalist team celebrated the victory and shed tears of joy on the ground, AC Ghulam Fatima and the secretary of the gymnasium. Distributing the prizes to the teams, Assistant Commissioner Ghulam Fatima said that there are no opportunities for girls’ sports in our small towns, Gymkhana Dadu has taken a good step to bring the girls forward, the girls are very enthusiastic. The secretary of the gymnasium said that what we have seen is the lack of sports activities in the schools. Do activities in the gymnasium, children nowadays are trapped in the web of mobile phones and are trying to do the games which are not in schools in the gymnasium were not implemented, the tournament will be held next year with all the rules and regulations, the students said that the games are not difficult for the boys, but it is difficult for us to know where to practice. Yes, not even in school. We played and won for the first time. We are proud. Such activities encourage girls. These games have given us a great opportunity to show our talent.
