Islamabad: Petroleum Minister Dr Musadiq Malik said on Monday that the government led by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif aims to eliminate red tape and support the business community for sustainable economic development.
Addressing a press conference with Minister of Trade Jam Kamal Khan and Minister of Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Dr. Malik said, “The Prime Minister has given instructions to remove red tape and reduce regulations for a conducive environment and a level playing field for all investors.”
He said Saudi Arabian companies have set up a separate table while Pakistani companies are in talks to develop their business internationally.
The minister expressed hope that several companies will conclude business and investment agreements during the business-to-business (B2B) session, promoting greater economic cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
He said that more than 100 Pakistani companies attended the investment conference and discussed cooperation with Saudi Arabian companies in agriculture, mining, human resources, energy, chemical, marine, IT, religious tourism, telecommunications, aviation, construction, water and various sectors. . produce electricity.
He believes that the Pakistan-Saudi Arabia Investment Conference will boost bilateral trade and investment, usher in a new era of growth and prosperity.
He said that the investment conference will create a new direction and hope for Pakistan.
Minister of Commerce Jam Kamal thanked Khan for his leadership in appointing coordinators for each company visiting Pakistan.
