LAHORE: Punjab Governor M Balighur Rahman has emphasized the integral role of workers in enhancing Pakistan’s economic growth and strengthening its stability.
Labor Day has spread a message all over the world, including in Pakistan, which emphasizes the importance of the day to be remembered.
He thanked all the hard workers including those involved in the work
factories, plants, farms and construction sites that support agriculture
in an honest way.
The governor emphasized the importance of labor rights and workplace safety and urged the industry to prioritize the welfare of its workers. He said there is a need to ensure that workers have their rights and that strict safety protocols are implemented in all workplaces.
