ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Chaudhry Salik Hussain said the government is ready to launch an online land registration service for overseas Pakistanis to ease their difficulties in transferring property and attract foreign inflows.
He said this while talking to a delegation of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry led by its president Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari. Former ICCI President, UBG and FPCCI General Secretary Zafar Bakhtawari, former ICCI President and Group Founder Chairman Khalid Iqbal Malik and former ICCI Executive Member Saeed Khan were included in the delegation.
He specified that the services could be offered through community welfare assigned offices in Pakistan’s foreign missions in countries with a substantial Pakistani diaspora.

He further said that the Business Community will be represented in various councils in the Ministry. Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari said that overseas Pakistanis are a valuable asset to Pakistan and the country’s ambassadors and therefore their problems should be resolved on priority.
At this stage, he made several major proposals to boost foreign remittances and provide necessary training to the workforce in various fields so that they can get attractive salary packages.
Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari added that the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry would be ready to provide support to the ministry in improving the skill development of the workforce in various fields.
Appreciating the proposals of the ICCI President, the ICCI President said that his ministry will try its best to raise the level of professional training and certification in consultation with all stakeholders.
