Islamabad: Senate Chairman and senior PPP leader Yousuf Raza Gilani reiterated his stand for South Punjab Chief Secretary Fawad Hashim Rabbani and to promote the development of South Punjab.
Gillani said that South Punjab region is a key region of the country, ensuring food security.
Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani: “Our first demand is to establish a separate high court for this region (South Punjab).”
The Senate chairman provided a railway plot for the CM’s house during the Chief Minister’s tenure. Gilani said full support would be given for the development of South Punjab.
The Additional Chief Secretary said that the South Punjab secretariat department respects the unique initiatives and efforts made to improve good governance and public services in the region.
