LEEDS: Pakistan men’s white ball coach Gary Kirsten has joined the squad in Leeds for the four-match T20I series against England.
Team leader and captain Babar Azam welcomed South Africa. Senior manager Wahab Riaz gave him a team training session.
The Pakistan team will train from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm local time on May 20, with the final training session on Tuesday from 1:30 am to 4:30 pm before the first T20I.
First T20I between Pakistan and England will be played at Headingley, Leeds on May 22.
The T20I series will be crucial for both teams, with the World Cup starting in the USA two days after its conclusion.
Pakistan is in Group A of the World Cup alongside arch-rivals India, Ireland, Canada and the USA. Meanwhile, England face Australia, Namibia, Scotland and Oman in Group B.
