Peshawar: Two to three members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet are likely to resign soon due to unsatisfactory performance, government sources said, as Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur warned them.
Sources said Gandapur will inform PTI founder Imran Khan about the situation as the provincial minister has not shown any progress.
In a meeting between the prime minister and the founder of the party, they said that any progress would lead to dismissal, but they spoke before extreme measures were taken.
If the aforementioned ministers fail to change their position after that, they will eventually be removed from the cabinet.
Sources say that the Prime Minister wants to see better in his department than his team and implement a policy of tolerance in this matter.
When it comes to their replacement, sources say, the decision-making power rests with Gandapur and Imran. Therefore, the Prime Minister will announce this decision only after the party’s founding consultant is lodged in Central Jail Rawalpindi, now known as Adiala Jail.
It is important to note that the source did not share the names of potential decision makers.
