Islamabad: Acting Ambassador of Indonesia to Pakistan Rehmat Hindiarta has said that trade relations between Pakistan and Indonesia can have very positive effects at the global level. He said that Pakistani food products will play a key role in global food security in the future. There is ample opportunity to absorb Pakistani rice, medicines and other commodities in the Indonesian market. He expressed these views in a meeting with the delegation of businessmen headed by Pakistan Development Foundation (PDF) Chairman, Muhammad Bilal Sethi here at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia the other day.
JW Holdings Chief Executive Officer, Hasnain Waheed, Yasir Kamran Khattak and Malik Mubasher Khan were also present on this occasion. Indonesian embassy officials briefed the delegation on the international business expo to be held in Indonesia in October and invited them to participate in the expo.
Bilal Sethi said on the occasion that he will play a role in promoting trade between Pakistan and Indonesia. He emphasized on enhancing youth business relations between the two countries. Bilal Sethi said that the youth of Pakistan and Indonesia should cooperate with each other in digital marketing to improve the economy of their respective countries. He added that youth bulge at both the Pakistan and Indonesia was a great resource which was supposed to be utilized and engaged in trade. Sethi remarked that Pakistani youth is promising and will impact business ties between the two states.
