LAHORE: French Ambassador Nicolas Gali and Economic Consul Laurent Chopin called on Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz today.
Punjab CM and French Ambassador exchanged views on cooperation in various sectors to strengthen bilateral relations.
Both sides agreed to promote cooperation in climate change mitigation and environmental protection initiatives.
On this occasion, CM Punjab reiterated that there is a strong history of relations and cooperation between Pakistan and France.
French Ambassador Nicolas Gali praised the community welfare and development initiatives in Punjab and expressed his willingness to work together for the development and stability of Pakistan.
He said cooperation is essential to reduce global challenges such as climate change.
