Islamabad: A delegation of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) met Minister Jam Kamal to resolve economic issues through close cooperation.
A delegation led by FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh held talks with Federal Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan on Monday to resolve pressing trade issues.
During the meeting, the delegation congratulated the minister on his new appointment and promised to fully support joint efforts to solve the challenges in the business sector.
Hour Minister Kamal Khan assured the FPCCI delegation of its commitment to address the issue and stressed the importance of regular coordination meetings to facilitate more efficient operations.
Minister Jam Kamal Khan acknowledged the challenges faced by the business sector, especially in the electricity and gas sectors, and his delegation decided to tackle these challenges together with others.
The group highlighted the establishment of a think-tank in FPCCI under the leadership of former Minister of Commerce Dr. Gohar Ejaz aimed at shaping Vision 2030 and called for close collaboration with ministries to improve efficiency and ease of operation.
The Minister appreciated the concept and expressed his full support. He assured the delegates of his full support and said he would extend all support.
Discussions also focused on export promotion strategies, with the minister confirming his intention to involve the delegation in ongoing efforts and emphasizing their collective role as a group.
The delegation included Ex-President FPCCI Ghazanfar Bilour, Chairman Karim Aziz Malik, Chairman Malik Sohail Hussain, Chairman FPCCI Coordinator ZP Ejaz, Chairman FPCCI Budget Advisory Board Mian Zahid Hussain.
