RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed at least four terrorists during an Intelligence Operation (IBO) in the Tank district.
On the night of April 28, 2024, security forces conducted an intelligence operation to report the presence of terrorists in the Tank district. The location of the terrorists was effectively used with their forces, resulting in four terrorists being sent to hell,” he said.
The ISPR said that security forces have recovered arms and ammunition from terrorists involved in many terrorist activities in the district.
Media sources said that the residents of the area appreciate the work of the security forces who are determined to remove the menace of terrorism from the country.
A day earlier, ISPR reported that two terrorists involved in target killing and looting were killed in an exchange of fire between militants and security forces in Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the military’s media wing, security forces conducted an IBO in Dera Ismail Khan on April 28 to report the presence of terrorists.
“The terrorist Faheem Nawaz alias Gandapuri and the terrorist Mohsin Nawaz have been successfully neutralized and sent to hell,” he said.
A brief statement issued by the military press wing said that weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the slain terrorists, who were actively involved in many terrorist activities involving targeted killings and robberies against security forces and innocent civilians.
