ISLAMABAD: The Additional Attorney General has sought details from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) regarding cases and investigations against the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) related to the May 9 events. Significant progress was made in the cases against the PTI founder regarding the May 9 events as the Additional Attorney General sought details of inquiries and cases from the FIA. Based on the Additional Attorney General’s letter, the FIA Director General became active and asked all the Zonal Directors to submit reports. A written directive has been issued for all zones on this matter. The letter inquired as to whether any investigations or investigations relating to May 9 and 10 were ongoing in any zone and, if so, what progress had been made in those investigations. According to FIA sources, all zonal directors have been asked to send reports by this evening and the FIA will submit its report to the High Court tomorrow.
