BHAKKAR: On the directives of Federal Ombudsman Ejaz Ahmed Qureshi, Investigation Officer Arif Khan Kundi visited Bhakkar district and held an open court session at the Provincial Ombudsman Office on September 3, 2024, at 10:00 am. The session addressed complaints against various departments, including WAPDA FESCO, BISP, Postal Life Insurance, State Life Insurance Company, and others.
Investigation Officer Arif Khan Kundi issued orders to the relevant authorities and provided relief on the spot. During a press conference, he stated that, under the Federal Ombudsman’s directives, they are conducting open court sessions in far-flung areas and inspecting departmental offices to ensure timely resolution of public grievances.
He emphasized that the primary objective of the visit was to facilitate citizens’ access to government officials, enabling them to resolve their issues promptly. He warned relevant authorities that any negligence or complacency in addressing public concerns would not be tolerated. The public appreciated the Federal Ombudsman’s initiative.
