Turbat: Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi visited the Frontier Corps Balochistan South Headquarters. He was received by Inspector General Frontier Corps South Major General Bilal Safraz Khan.
During the visit, Mohsin Naqvi paid homage at the martyrs memorial, laid floral wreath, and offered Fateha. He prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs of Frontier Corps.
Later, Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi chaired an important meeting at the Frontier Corps Balochistan South Headquarters. He was briefed regarding the operations against Fitna Al Khawarij and anti-smuggling efforts. He appreciated the performance of Frontier Corps South in maintaining peace and curbing smuggling in Balochistan.
Interior Minister said that Frontier Corps South is at the forefront of foiling the nefarious designs of Fitna Al Khawarij and has performed exemplary services for peace in difficult circumstances. He added that the its officers and personnel are playing the role of vanguard for peace in Balochistan and we are proud of their professional expertise and bravery. He stated that the professional requirements of Frontier Corps South will be fulfilled within available resources.
Interior Minister said that the prosperity and development of Balochistan are linked to sustainable peace. He added that comprehensive measures are needed to empower the youth of Balochistan. He emphasized that all stakeholders must be on the same page for the sustainable development of Balochistan. He highlighted that cricket and other sports competitions in Balochistan will promote healthy activities among the youth. Interior Minister was also briefed on the performance of Frontier Corps South and it was apprised that illegal items of around Rs. 4 billion and 70 crore have been seized in the last six months.
