SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: A grand fair was organized by FC South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gomal Scouts Force at Wana Gomal Zam Dam in Lower South Waziristan District on Sunday. The event was attended by Commandant Gomal Scouts Force Moeen Uddin Ahmad, District Police Officer Farman Ullah, tribal elders, youths, students, local government chairmen, and officers from across the district.
The fair featured traditional dance performances and local singers, entertaining the participants.
Tribal elders emphasized the importance of promoting tourism in the region, acknowledging the sacrifices of security forces for establishing peace and order. They expressed their commitment to making sacrifices for the betterment of the region and country.
Tribal elders stated that Gomal Zam Dam, located in Wana Tehsil, is a significant spot for sightseeing, which has greatly increased tourism promotion.
They emphasized their stance, saying, “We stand side by side with the security forces and FC South KP for the common goal of peace, development, prosperity, and good neighborliness.” They added, “We are always ready to make all kinds of sacrifices for the betterment of the region and the country. The sacrifices of the security forces for the establishment of peace and order are not a secret matter.”
The event concluded with a dinner organized by Gomal Scouts Force, showcasing their dedication to promoting peace, development, and prosperity in the region.
