To combat smuggling operations in various areas of Balochistan, Border Corps (FC) Balochistan successfully seized illegal goods worth more than $123 million during operations conducted from April 17 to May 17, 2024.
The operation, which was carried out in areas including Dera Allah Yarar, Barhan, Pishin, Chaman and Mastung, saw the seizure of a large amount of contraband.
Authorities also found other contraband, including fertilizer, solar panels and free vehicles. The seized goods are handed over to the customs authorities for immediate action.
Drug traffickers try to transport these illegal substances through various means such as trucks, passenger buses and disguised routes.
However, the timely intervention of FC Balochistan thwarted efforts to stem the flow of contraband in the region.
