RAWALPINDI:- Awami Muslim League chief and former federal minister Sheikh Rashid claims that Maulana Fazlur Rehman has won the first round of debate on the constitutional amendment bill. In his statement, Sheikh Rashid said that those pushing the slogan “Vote ko Izzat Do” have themselves undermined the value of votes. He questioned that when no one has a copy of the constitutional amendment proposal, how can they expect to gain public confidence. He also noted that democracy has been systematically sabotaged under the cover of darkness. Sheikh Rashid expressed the hope that the political unrest in the country will reach a decisive solution by September 30.
