ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that his party partially accepts the Supreme Court’s decision to allot reserved seats to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Fazlur Rehman, in a media interview, commented on the decision to award reserved seats to PTI, saying that constitutional and legal experts are the ones who can give a definitive opinion on the Supreme Court’s decision regarding the allocation of reserved seats by the Election Commission.
“Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam partially accepts Supreme Court decision and expresses goodwill towards PTI.
Regarding the review appeal, Fazlur Rehman mentioned that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam as a party will not file an appeal. However, individuals within the JUI-F directly affected by this decision will not be prevented from exercising their right to file an individual appeal.
