ISLAMABAD: Faisal Masjid will host 300 people for Aitekaf, a revered Islamic tradition of seclusion and devotion, in an effort to deepen their spiritual connection during the holy month of Ramazan.
Faisal Masjid management has opened its doors to those seeking this profound spiritual experience in the last Ashra (10 days) of the holy month. She announced that applications for the Aitekaf will be accepted until the 10th of Ramazan, allowing eager devotees to secure their seats in advance.
Applicants are encouraged to operate the process on a first-come, first-served basis, emphasizing the importance of prompt submission. Prospective participants are required to obtain an application form from the Faisal Masjid Islamic Center office. Along with the application, individuals must provide two passport-size photographs and a copy of their ID to ensure all necessary documentation is provided.
As the responsibility of arranging Suhoor and Iftar rests with the participants, individuals are encouraged to prepare properly for the duration of their Aitekaf.
It is worth noting that the Aitekaf opportunity is open to individuals under the age of 60, which promotes inclusivity within the spiritual community. In addition, participants are advised to arrive before Iftar on the 20th of Ramazan, which marks the beginning of their retreat.
