Kohat: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Aftab Alam Afridi Advocate has said that transparent and fair use of production bonus fund will be ensured in every case and every penny will be spent on the welfare of the people. He further said that a development plan will be prepared keeping in mind the needs of each region under the said fund. He expressed these views while presiding over the meeting held in Commissioner House Kohat regarding production bonus fund. Among others Shahryar Afridi MNA, Chairman DEDAC Kohat Shafi Jan MPA, Dawood Shah Afridi MPA, Deputy Commissioner Kohat Abdul Akram, Tehsil Nazmin of Gumbat and Lachi and officials of the concerned departments also participated in the meeting. In the meeting, methods were discussed in detail to ensure transparent and efficient use of production bonus fund of Kohat and several important decisions were taken in this regard. In the meeting, emphasis was placed on preparing projects of public interest in the fields of education, health, drinking water, electricity, gas and communication and construction under the production fund. Matters of distribution of the said fund for investment in various sectors were also considered in the meeting. The Law Minister directed the authorities concerned to organize such projects across the district which would directly benefit the people. He further directed that coordination between all departments is very important for timely completion of projects. Aftab Alam expressed happiness that all the elected representatives gathered on one page for the public interest and agreed to use the resources for the welfare of the people, calling it a very encouraging move and said that the development of his cohort There will be far-reaching effects.
