London: Researchers have found that taller individuals have a higher risk of developing cancer. According to a report by the World Cancer Research Fund, there is substantial evidence indicating that taller people are at increased risk for various cancers, including pancreatic, colon, cervical, ovarian, prostate, kidney, skin, and breast cancers.
The UK Million Women Study, which investigated 15 out of 17 types of cancer, revealed that the likelihood of developing these cancers rises with height. Researchers discovered that for every additional 10 centimeters in height, the risk of cancer increases by approximately 16 percent. This trend is also observed in men.
