HASSAN ABDAL: Under the vision of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, a nationwide tree plantation campaign is underway. In this regard, the Government of Pakistan has directed all federal and relevant departments to actively participate in the campaign.
In this context, the Chairman of the Evacuee Trust Property Board, Dr. Syed Atta Ur Rehman, visited Gurdwara Sri Panja Sahib in Hassan Abdal. During this visit, he was warmly welcomed by Noor Aslam, Administrator Evacuee Trust Property Board Rawalpindi Division, Yasir Aslam Monga, Deputy Administrator Hassan Abdal, Ismatullah Khan, Caretaker of Gurdwara Sri Panja Sahib, local forestry officials, and other staff.
Dr. Syed Atta Ur Rehman planted a tree as part of the plantation campaign inside the Gurdwara and offered a prayer. Speaking to the attendees, he emphasized that the Evacuee Trust Property Board is fully supporting this noble cause in line with the Government of Pakistan’s policies. Planting and protecting trees is not only our national responsibility but also a Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). With global warming and environmental changes affecting our country severely, it is essential to fulfill our national duty by taking advantage of the tree plantation campaign.
Subsequently, the Chairman of the Evacuee Trust Property Board met with the staff and also visited Gurdwara Sri Panja Sahub .
