Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman criticized Pakistan’s recently concluded 2024 elections, claiming that they had released information about fraud during the 2018 elections.
Fazl made these comments at a press conference in Karachi, where he claimed that the international crisis caused the Pakistani army to cave in, thereby disrupting the elections.
“The organization of coercion is labeled as oppression. The organization divided its ranks, placing some in one place and some in another,” he said about its influence in the elections.
Expressing his disappointment with the decreasing importance of the government, Fazl said: “We see democracy being mocked in the government that no longer represents the people. The organization we witness there will be people who claim to represent the Church. Be a manager, manage the organizations, but not the heart of the country.” .
