SWAT: The Election appellate Tribunal at the Peshawar high court Mingora Bench on Monday approved the nomination papers of Saeedullah, the father of the former federal minister Murad Saeed. Additionally, the court directed Murad Saeed to personally appear before the tribunal and Verdict his nomination reserved till Jan 09( Today)
According to PTI Swat, former federal Minister Murad Saeed had submitted his oation papers for NA-3 swat ii and NA-4 swat iii through his lawyer and his father Saeedullah had submitted his nomination papers for PK-8 which were earlier rejected by the relevant returning officers in Swat. About 84 of other nomination papers of the PTI candidates were also rejected by the relevant returning officers.
However, after the rejection the PTI candidates filed an appeal in the election appellate tribunal upon which about 84 nomination papers were approved by the court of Justice Muhammad Naeem Anwar on January 5 this month and the rest of the cases were scheduled for hearing on January 8.

On Monday, January 8, the Election Tribunal approved the documents of Murad Saeed’s father Saeedullah and directed Murad Saeed to appear in person before the court and has reserved the decision till January 9 today on behalf of Murad Saeed’s lawyers, who did not assure his attendance.” sources said.”
