Islamabad : Ahmed Shaheen, the Egyptian assistant foreign minister for Asia, and Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, the additional foreign secretary (middle east), met yesterday when she was in Egypt. Sajid Bilal, Pakistan’s ambassador to Egypt, attended the conference as well.
The political, commercial, and investment relationships between the two parties were all assessed. Additionally, they talked about how to improve ties between the two countries, including as holding the upcoming Joint Ministerial Commission meeting and Annual Bilateral Consultations in Islamabad later this year.
During the 75th anniversary celebrations of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Egypt, the Fourth Pakistan-Africa Trade Development Conference and Single Country Exhibition was successfully held in Cairo from January 9–11, 2024. The Additional Foreign Secretary and the Assistant Foreign Minister for Asia expressed their gratitude for this accomplishment. They decided to keep talking and collaborating to promote constructive communication and cooperation between the two nations.
